Circl respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), it is our policy to respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our website or any affiliated digital service (collectively, the “Platform”) that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement ("Notice")

To be effective, a Notice must include the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
4. Contact information for the complaining party, including an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed (or to which access was disabled) by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us ("Counter-Notice"). To be effective, a Counter-Notice must be a written communication that includes the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material; and
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Circl may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement or an agent of such person.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Circl has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at Circl's sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Circl may also, in its sole discretion, limit access to the Platform and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Modifications

Circl reserves the right to modify, alter, or update this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
